Here She Waits

Framed painting of a pale dryad woman in roots and tree. Blue surrounds her, like light is coming from a split open trunk. She has a long piece of fabric draped from her legs.

Original Art by Laura Siadak

Toes tread softly in moss, green and rich earth crumbling in our fingers, unraveling the forest that barred our passage.

About the Artist

Laura Siadak

Laura Siadak is a traditional painter delving into the realm of fantastical illustration. Her love of stories unfold in brief moments within her work. She encourages others to share a story they see from within a piece of artwork, as if adding on another chapter. Much of her work also relies on what friends and family have said around her, even if not knowing they'd sparked an idea. Laura has a BFA from Alfred, School of Art and Design in Alfred, NY 2002 and moved to the St. Louis area in 2005.
