Spirit Migration III is from a series of paintings / drawings, conceptually dealing with the borders between the physical and the emotional realm. While our bodies remain relatively stationary in the physical world, the mind can race and emotions wash over us in waves. The spirits in those paintings, to me, represent the ever-fleeting emotions that are in constant movement, sometimes pleasant, sometimes heavy, but always in motion.
