A note from Marc (our Founder)

If you’ve met Grant Cooley, you’ll know first what a lasting commitment he has to this work, and also how hard it will be for me to sum it up in just a few words. This piece was one of the first that Grant created when he first branched out into the style of work he’s now known for. Grant will never stop exploring, never stop creating, and as you can read below, never stop pushing against the pressure on an artist to do so with thoughtfulness and intention. Grant is certainly larger than life in person, and what I love is that this piece gives us a glimpse into the inner world he shares with all of us.

And a reminder that a portion of each piece in this sale will go back to the artist! And a portion will go to fund a small scholarship for an artist to join the Unleash Creativity club community.

This painting depicts the struggle of an artist to create under the immense pressure of concept, choice and execution.

I pretty much spend all my time anymore expanding the reaches of the Wylds and carving out more visual lore for the races of Enoch. In the past I have taught art classes and given lectures throughout the southeast. Now you can find me on the Tennessee genre convention circuit talking and demoing games, selling gaming illustrations and science fiction art!
