Catacombs

This piece was inspired by a photograph taken by Lauren Panepinto on her recent trip to Paris.

As I worked on this, I was reminded of a quote from one of my favorite books, Dune.
“Try looking into that dark place where you dare not look! You’ll find me there, staring back at you”.
