What do goths eat in the summer for a sweet treat?

Skullberries and cream, of course!

After painting a strawberry with a skull in it for a silly spooky tiki collection sticker, I got the earworm “skullberries and cream!” stuck in my head, and I realized that it would make a perfect addition to my ever sought-after spooky tea series. Thus, Skullberries and Cream was created!

Skullberries and Cream! was lovingly hand painted in acryl gouache, metallic and color shifting watercolors, as well as fountain pen ink. I’ve been saving a special old antique frame I found in the backwoods of Massachusetts for a long while, and saw I could refinish it with metal leaf and enamel to almost perfectly match my skull cup, so that’s what I did!

The painting measures 6″Wx8″H and the outer dimensions of the frame are 12.5″H x 10″W x 1.5″D . Comes with a certificate of authenticity, and glazed with lexan plexiglass. (I do photograph the work without the glazing to prevent glare)
