Shantungosaurus
by Owen Weber
Shantungosaurus is the largest known hadrosaur to have been found thus far. It would have weighed between 14 and 16 tons and was about 49 ft. long. It was very large. It was first found in 1973 in the Shandong peninsula in China.
Lately, I have been fascinated with the largest dinosaurs that have been discovered. The idea of this creature, two and a half times the height of a human, stomping through the forest would just have been astounding.
