Meet Charlie – a free spirited Garden Tiger Fairy. She can be found in cool mountain forests, late at night, drinking the nectar of night phlox and playing with her fox friends. Be careful if you should try to catch her as she cares poison to protect her from predators.

Painted with acryla gouache on watercolor paper, mounted t, she has been created from a vintage book – Finest Story in the World – by Rudyard Kipling and is mounted on a book cover scrap in a Riker specimen display box.
