Sighing Stars

by Christine Griffin

“Some nights, clear and ringing as the approaching frost, she opens her mouth and sighs stars. Nothing weary. Easy breaths, creating tiny dazzles of possibility.”

Another exploration of humans meeting the astronomical. Drawn in graphite and a touch of colored pencil, the paper has a slightly leathery texture and a touch of glimmer from a wash of iridescent watercolor. The stars are also highlighted with coarse, pearl PanPastel. Little bling for the holidays!
