Water Witch

As I did this piece I kept seeing her walk dark underwater pathways, guided by her own light. She would see vague, hulking things swimming at the edges of her illumination and she knew that they were afraid of her. Afraid but enthralled by her. She was the queen of cold currents and black waters and she knew her kingdom well.
