They Don’t Build Em Like They Used To…
by Ron Lemen
This is of an old T -6 Texan, one of several at an airstrip near LAAFA, the art school I teach for in Los Angeles. I know it’s an old abused saying, but I heard a few old men out there talking at the time and the one said to the other, “They Don’t Build Em As They Used To.” Just as a beautiful new private jet came flying in to the airport.
This is oil on canvas, 5 x 7″from my thumb box.
