The Last Unicorn

The Last Unicorn is an iconic movie and book for many. I am no exception.

The illustrative vintage Rankin/Bass style has a special place in my heart, and I’m working on implementing more of it into my work. Even with Fan-Art being a passion of mine, as there are many IPs I love, I rarely have a chance to bring anything to fruition.

This illustration was sketched traditionally, finished digitally, and then printed on Arches cold press oil paper.

Mediums include – ink, acrylic, airbrush, and finishing touches in Oil.

Accents on the piece include Gold acrylic ink and color-shifting mica powder.
