‘The Bridge’

‘The Bridge’ is inspired by the experience of shifting perspectives. The point where we change from seeing something one way to another. In visual arts, it can be between the 2D format of the paper and medium to the 3D representation of the image we’re trying to portray. And in life it can be between thought and reality.
In this piece the shift is portrayed as a cubed structure representing a bridge between the two perspectives. The angle is positioned to create something that works both as a 3D structure and a 2D pattern onto itself.

‘The Bridge’ is 8″ x 10″ image size and 11″ x 14″ paper size, drawn on Stonehenge paper.
