Study for “Apostasy”

This is a color study created for a larger piece entitled “Apostasy,” as a part of my Anamnesis series currently on display at Arch Enemy Arts in Philadelphia, PA. It measures 6″ x 8″ with an additional 0.5″ unpainted edge and was painted with watercolor and white ink. The piece itself is among my most personal works to date, inspired by my time as part of a religious cult organization and my experience in breaking free.
