Rose in Hand

by Luis Tinoco

“Rose in Hand”
7″x10.25″ oil on panel

Oil Paint on cradled panel with hanging wire, sealed with Gamvar varnish.

Taking inspiration from everyday neon signs like nail salons and floral shops, I combined some common motifs to create a unique “neon” piece.  Neon signs are a staple of any major metropolitan city or small town and can make any place feel more lively and colorful. From theater marquees, to bars, motels and liquor stores, neon signs are often vibrant and illuminate their surroundings with it’s colorful glow.
