Nasturtium and Bees

Nasturtiums fascinate me! They are always some of the brightest flowers in the garden each year. I’m drawn to them just like the little bees in this painting. The painting includes parts of repurposed textiles and a discarded table runner. There are also tons of textural marks scattered throughout the painting that have been applied with a palette knife.

14″x14″ acrylic and mixed media painting on gallery wrapped canvas.

There are scallops along the outside edge that frame the painting nicely. This art has been varnished to protect it from UV light. There is also hanging hardware installed on the back for display.
