This miniature oil painting reimagines the 18th-century tradition of Lover’s Eyes.

The eye itself is a tiny original oil painting on archival illustration board with silver leaf backing.  The eye portrait comes in a gunmetal grey locket with a glass front and back and a magnetic closure.  The locket hangs from a pale blue pure silk ribbon.  The lobster clasp is the same gunmetal grey as the locket.
