Forgotten L’nore

by Valerie Savarie

This piece was created from a mini vintage copy of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven and Other Poems, published in the 1930’s.

With us being “in the bleak December” this seemed a perfect poem to create a piece about.

Lenore and the raven are one – her spirit takes flight, transformed into a raven. She tries to send a message of love and loss to her betrothed yet can only speak the word nevermore – doomed to haunted his chambers evermore.
