Hazel Ang
Hazel Ang draws inspiration from the (super)natural world and folklore. Her work is an amalgamation of a wide range of cultural, literary, and spiritual inferences sparked by her Chinese-Filipino heritage. She grew up in the Canadian city of Toronto. Her current process involves creating works with colour pencil on wood. She also enjoys working with gouache and oil. Her favourite substrate is wood. She is based in Munich, Germany where she is surrounded by nature and fantastical beasts.
