Anthony Moravian
Anthony Moravian is an illustrator that uses classical techniques to create realistic science fiction and fantasy themes. He specializes in charcoal drawings and oil paintings.
Anthony was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and began drawing at the age of three. During his childhood, Anthony had a passion for drawing, using inspiration from the comics he kept in his basement. He was also fascinated by the imaginative world of science fiction, which fueled his love for creating fantasy and science fiction artwork grounded in reality.
Anthony graduated magna cum laude from the Associate program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Upon recommendation from a professor, he worked sketch nights and events at the New York Society of Illustrators. It was there he began to take a great interest in realistic painting. As a result, he began to work to capture some qualities that were often featured in classical realistic paintings while maintaining his interest in fantasy concepts.
He currently lives and works in New York as a freelance illustrator.
