By the Fire

Some of my sweetest memories from childhood were spent around a campfire in the woods of Wisconsin. My painting “By the Fire” was inspired by the calming sensation you get while gazing at the flames before retiring to your tent. Over the years countless people have shared in this feeling of tranquility. As the moon shines down from above and with your bare feet planted lightly on the earth the campfire burns on and on.
